About Roof Cleaning
Before any sealants are applied, the roof needs to be cleaned. That’s where our quality process starts. We take the utmost precaution to prevent wear and tear or damage to your roof tiles. We use only low-pressure cleaning methods with minimal direct contact. This protects your tile roof when we clean and seal it. We also create a digital file with before and after photos of each job for documentation.
Why Low-Pressure Cleaning?
The goal is to clean and seal your tile roof with the lowest pressure necessary to do the job. High-pressure cleaning of tile roofs removes the top surface of the roof tile, reducing the life expectancy of your roof and, in many cases, impacting the warranty on your tile roof.
When to Use High-Pressure Cleaning
High-pressure cleaning has its place. When we clean sidewalks, driveways, pool decks, pavers or similar materials, high pressure is the preferred method. Our commercial pressure washing equipment is state-of-the-art and our certified chemical wash is guaranteed to kill algae, mold, and mildew.
Roof Sealants
We use two different roof sealants.
- Our Arrest’R sealant is a copper sulfate-based product that acts as an algaecide to dramatically inhibit mold and mildew. It comes with a 2-year warranty.
- Sealant RS is our own product. This revolutionary product is a penetrating sealant that dramatically inhibits the growth of mold and mildew by creating a waterproof barrier. It also strengthens your tile and protects them from UV rays, ensuring that they last longer and look better. It carries a 5-year warranty.
Ground Sealants
We use Cobble Loc sealant on pavers, decorative stone, travertine, and concrete/ground applications. The sealant allows us to clean and seal your surfaces on the same day! Cobble Loc provides a nice, wet look and semi-gloss finish like traditional solvent-based sealers, but in an environmentally friendly, low-VOC formulation. And you’ll enjoy a 2-year warranty.
